What is We Heart Kawaii?
We Heart Kawaii is a fun and cute community and stationery subscription box for all kawaii fans. Our mission is to offer hard to find kawaii products from Asia and the USA that will give you happiness and that in turn will promote creativity, positivity, and kindness.
The Community: Subscribers will gain access to We Heart Kawaii private online community so they can connect with others in a happy, fun, creative, and welcoming space. We welcome and encourage everyone to share what they are doing with the monthly products such as journaling, scrapbooking, creative projects, card making, letter writing, etc.
The Box: Each month our box has a different theme and has up to 6 items. Items include:
- stickers, notebooks, note pads, pens, pencils, washi tape, stamps, and small plushies
- Innovative office accessories
How Often Does It Ship?
Our sales cycle works like this: if you buy a box between August 1 – August 30, you get the September box! The September box will be shipped out on or around September 4th.
Each month our boxes ship on or around the 4th of each month.
Is Shipping Included in the Price?
I haven’t received my box yet - Where is it?
If you purchased your box between the August 1st – 30th, you will receive the September box. It will ship on or around September 4th. You will receive a tracking email once the shipping label is printed. Cuteness is on its way!
When will I be billed?
When you start a new subscription, your first box will be billed immediately at signup. Subsequent months will be billed on the 1st of each month for the box that will be shipped around the 4th. For example, if you initially subscribe on Aug 4th, you would be billed immediately for the box that will be shipped on or around September 4th. Your next billing date would be October 1st for the box which will be shipped on or around October 4th.
When does my box renew?
You will receive an email each month reminding you that your subscription is about to renew on the 1st. If you want to renew, you do nothing – just sit back and wait for your cute box to be delivered. If you want to pause or cancel your subscription, please log into your account and do so.
For gift boxes, you can choose to make gift boxes auto-renew or purchase a one time gift.
Can I stay in the online community after my subscription ends?
Yes! We would love you to stay in our “Kawaii Hearts” private community, even if your subscription ends. Anyone who subscribes for a minimum of one month will have lifetime access to our fun, happy, and cute online community!
How do I cancel my subscription or skip a month?

Cancelling: We will be sad to see you go, but you can cancel your subscription at any time. Just log into your account, go to your account subscription page, and select the option to cancel. Cancellations by 11:59 PM CDT on the 30th will not be billed on the 1st and will not have a box shipped on the 4th. Cancellations made on or after the 1st of the month will be effective for the following month.
We do not offer refunds on boxes that have already shipped.
Skipping: You can also choose to skip a month, instead of cancelling altogether, by logging into your account. Then, when you’re ready, you can easily resume shipment of your boxes any time! Be sure to skip or pause by 11:59 PM CDT on the 30th of the month.
Can I give We Heart Kawaii as a gift?
Of course! In fact, we encourage it! This is such a special gift to give a friend or family member or anyone who loves Kawaii.
Follow these steps to gift the We Heart Kawaii subscription box:
- Click “Give A Gift” Option
- Choose the time frame for the gift. You can choose a one time gift or a 3 month or 6 month gift.
- Type in your gift message. We will definitely include a cute card with your message in the first box.
- Make the payment. The 3 month and 6 month options are prepaid.
The gift will be sent on or around the 4th of the month.
What if I don’t like what’s in my box?
Someone bought me a box as a gift and it’s not a good fit. Can I cancel or return?
For one-time gifts: We completely understand that our boxes are not a good for everyone. If you are not a fan of the box received, pay it forward to a person you think would like our box, perhaps it is a family member or a friend who loves kawaii. Or consider donating it to a local children’s hospital or teacher. Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to provide a refund or return of a one time gift box.
For gifts over a specific time frame: If you received a gift of more than one month, unfortunately we do not offer refunds due to someone not liking a box. We are happy to cancel all future shipments, but we can not refund. Please send a message to email@example.com.
